Instructions
1. Prepare the filling:
– In a skillet over medium heat, sauté the onion until softened.
– Add the garlic and ground beef, breaking it up as it cooks. Season with salt and pepper.
– Cook until the beef is browned and fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
– Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
2. Assemble the bombs:
– Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
– Flatten each piece of dough into a circle. Place a spoonful of the beef-cheese mixture in the center.
– Optional: Add a small slice of pickle or jalapeño for extra flavor.
– Pull the edges of the dough up and over the filling, pinching to seal tightly into a ball. Place seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
3. Add the garlic parmesan topping:
– In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, and grated parmesan cheese.
– Brush the tops of the bombs generously with the mixture.
4. Bake:
– Bake for 12–15 minutes or until the bombs are golden brown and puffed.
5. Serve and enjoy:
– Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired. Serve warm with ketchup, mustard, or your favorite dipping sauce.
