A tragic incident has shocked both the local community and visitors following the New Forest Cider Festival in southern England. A married couple were found dead in their motorhome on Sunday afternoon, just hours after the festival came to an end.

The couple have been identified as Kayleigh Coll, 38, and her husband, Chriss Coll, both from Dorset. They had been attending the festival through their family business, Mystacoll’s Spirit, where they were selling their products from a market stall throughout the weekend.

According to British media reports, the couple leave behind four children, and news of their deaths has devastated family members, friends, and fellow festival-goers.

Hampshire Police said the couple were found unresponsive in their motorhome near the village of Burley, where they had been staying during the event. An investigation has been launched, but officers say there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the deaths at this stage. Police have also stressed that there is nothing to suggest the deaths were connected to the festival itself.

In a statement, the organisers of the New Forest Cider Festival said they were deeply saddened and shocked by the tragedy and extended their heartfelt condolences to the couple’s loved ones.

Tributes have poured in across social media, with family and friends sharing heartfelt memories of the couple. A close friend, Kayleigh Jones, described Kayleigh as a loving, selfless and devoted mother.

“We grew up together, and I had the privilege of watching you become an incredible mum. You were the most selfless person I have ever known. More than anyone else I know, you deserved a long and happy life,” she wrote in an emotional tribute.

The exact cause of the couple’s sudden deaths has not yet been confirmed. Authorities are awaiting the results of post-mortem examinations before determining the official cause of death.
